Landmark Group Project

Brand Background & Philosophy

Founded in 1973, the Landmark Group has evolved into one of the Middle East’s largest and most respected retail and hospitality conglomerates. Headquartered in Dubai, the Group’s vast portfolio includes more than 2,200 stores across 21 countries, spanning fashion, home, electronics, health and wellness, food, and more. Two of its most successful retail brands—Babyshop and Max—have made a lasting impact on regional fashion retail.

Babyshop, the first brand launched by Landmark, has become a trusted destination for families across the GCC and beyond. Offering a wide range of children’s products, from apparel and footwear to toys and nursery essentials, Babyshop is built around the core promise of safety, quality, affordability, and style. The brand focuses on dressing newborns to teenagers with clothing that supports comfort, function, and contemporary taste—making it a go-to brand for parents.

Max, launched in 2004, is now the largest value fashion retailer in the Middle East. It delivers affordable, on-trend collections for men, women, and children, as well as footwear and accessories. With a keen understanding of regional fashion sensibilities and seasonal preferences, Max is tailored for customers who want fashionable choices at accessible prices.

Landmark Group’s philosophy is rooted in delivering exceptional value and customer-centric innovation. The Group is recognized for its strong sourcing capabilities, digital transformation investments, and operational excellence. As fashion retail continues to move faster, Landmark aims to stay ahead by working with agile partners who can keep up with speed-to-market, price efficiency, and sustainability commitments.

Project with Eton

Eton’s collaboration with Landmark Group began in 2012 through a partnership with Babyshop, marking the start of a trusted, long-term relationship. The first major project was the development and mass production of school uniforms for some of the largest educational institutions across the UAE — a project that demanded precision, durability, and consistency.

Eton successfully delivered high-quality uniforms with comfort-focused design, easy-care fabrics, and strong wash durability. This early success laid the groundwork for deeper collaboration and earned Eton a reputation as a reliable partner capable of managing complex, high-volume apparel programs.

Following the success of the Babyshop school uniform program, Landmark introduced Eton to its Max Fashion division, which required greater agility in sourcing trend-driven styles with quick turnaround times. Leveraging its versatile production network and strong quality control protocols, Eton was able to transition seamlessly between the two brands, supporting both structured kidswear and fast fashion for adults.

Over the years, Eton has supported Landmark with seasonal collections, core basics, and exclusive capsules, ensuring quality, timely deliveries, and consistent value across both brands. Today, Eton remains a key strategic sourcing partner, offering scalable, sustainable, and design-conscious solutions that align with Landmark’s vision for responsible and accessible fashion.

Goals of the project

The partnership between Landmark Group and Eton was driven by a shared goal: to develop efficient, flexible, and scalable sourcing solutions that meet the demands of value fashion across multiple customer segments. Specific objectives included:

By achieving these goals, Eton helped Landmark increase supply chain efficiency, reduce operational risk, and maintain its market leadership in value-driven fashion—positioning both Babyshop and Max for long-term, sustainable growth in a competitive retail environment.
